Channelling Weaves
The values shown are the minimum strength needed, achieving the minimal effect. Most weaves can also be cast at higher strengths to greater effect (See Healing Weaves, for example). Weaves may exist that are not on this list - use the below as a guide in such cases. Just because mathematically your character can perform a weave doesn't mean he/she has to know that weave or be proficient in it. (i.e. an Aes Sedai with a degree of strength in Earth may never have learned to create an Earthquake)

Fireball The ability to make a sphere of Fire and hurl it in a specified direction. Level 2   Level 2   Level 3
Fiery Sword The ability to rend a sword from Fire, similar to the one Rand uses Level 2   Level 2   Level 3
Cutting lines of Fire Threads of Fire with razor sharpness which can cut and slice     Level 3   Level 4
Harden Air To change the air into solid form, preventing any movement and potentially suffocating opponents Level 2        
Combustion The ability to make an item at a distance sponatneously burst into flames Level 3       Level 4
Exploding Earth The ability to make the earth erupt at a given point     Level 2 Level 4  
Slice Weave A razor sharp weave used to cut through a weave directed at you. Experience often has more to do with success than strength.     Level 2

Move Currents (Level 2) The ability to slightly move an existing current, or to strengthen a weak one   Level 2 Level 1    
Move Currents (Level 4) The ability to greatly move an existing current, or to create a current where there is none.   Level 4 Level 3    
Harness the Wind (Level 2) The ability to change the direction of an existing wind, or to strenthen it. Level 2   Level 1    
Harness the Wind (Level 4) The ability to call the wind when there is none. Level 4   Level 2    
Raise Fog The ability to create fog Level 2 Level 2      
Call Storm The ability to create a storm Level 3 Level 3     Level 2

Earthquake (Level 2) The ability to cause movements within the earth so that a small, local earthquake will occur     Level 1 Level 2

Earth Delving The ability to reach into the earth and find minerals and elements       Level 3  
Create Volcano The ability to create an outlet for underground sources of molten rock       Level 4 Level 3

Draw Mineral from earth The ability to pinpoint a particular mineral and to draw it up from the earth without damaging the rest of the land.     Level 1 Level 3

Delving A weave used to ascertain what is wrong with someone who is ill or injured, A strong Delver can feel old and previously healed injuries as well.     Level 2    
Healing (females) (Level 2) The basic Healing weave, associated with the repair of injury or illness. Part of the strength for the weave comes from the one being healed. This is the minimal strength - for the most minor of injuries. Level 2 Level 2 Level 2    
Healing (females) (Medium) The basic Healing weave, associated with the repair of injury or illness. Part of the strength for the weave comes from the one being healed. This is the strength for average injuries - simple breaks, fevers, etc. Level 3 Level 3 Level 3

Bonding A weave used to create a bond between a channeler and a non-channeler     Level 2    
False trail A weave used to create a false trail from one or more people (the one Moiraine used in EoTW to send the Myrdraal hunting in the wrong direction) Level 2   Level 3    
Trace A weave placed on an item which allows the weaver to follow the item's direction. Similar to a temporary bond. (the weave Moiraine used on the coins she gave the boys in EoTW)     Level 3    
Lesser Compulsion The ability to plant a strong seed of suggestion in minds of lesser willpower.     Level 4    
Shield Channeller A weave used to block another channeller from the True Source. Experience often has more to do with success than strength. Level 4er channellers can be held by weaker, but not often for long. Often done by a circle of channellers.     Level 2    
Warding Weaves Air Water Spirit Earth Fire
Ward dream A weave to create a barrier around onself to keep people who can reach Tel'Aran'Rhiod from being able to reach their dream. It is said that all Aes Sedai shield their dreams.     Level 1    
Ward against Shadowspawn A weave to warn of the presense of Shadowspawn     Level 3    
Fire Trap A weave which causes an item to combust if someone else touches it (useful for letters and reports and the like)     Level 3   Level 2
Ward against people A weave to warn of the presense of another person Level 2   Level 3 Level 2  
Circle of Silence A weave which creates a slight buzz to keep people from being able to hear something going on within the circle Level 2   Level 3    
Illusion Weaves Air Water Spirit Earth Fire
Folded Light A non-stationary weave which refracts the light away from a place so that whatever is behind the weave is invisible Level 3   Level 2 Level 2 Level 3
Mirror of Mists A weave which makes an item or person appear larger or smaller or in another place Level 3   Level 2   Level 2
Barrier to Sight A stationary weave which refracts the light away from a place so that whatever is behind the weave is invisible Level 3   Level 2   Level 3
Voice of Power A weave which amplifies sound Level 2   Level 2 Level 2  
Disguise A weave which covers an item or person with the image of something else. Works best if the overall shape and size is maintained, and is difficult to maintain precisely under movement. Level 3   Level 1 Level 2 Level 3

Create Angreal Make an existing object into an angreal (item which doubles strength in the One Power)   Level 2 Level 1 Level 2  
Create Sa'angreal Make an existing object into a sa'angreal (item which quadruples strength in the One Power)     Level 4 Level 4 Level 2
Create Ter'angreal Make an existing object into a ter'angreal (item made to serve a certain specific purpose). Ter'angreals which will make a weave of the One Power require knowledge and ability with the weave desired. Level 2 Level 2 Level 4 Level 4 Level 2
Create Cuendillar Make an existing object into Heartstone. Level 2 Level 4 Level 3 Level 4 Level 2
Forge Create an object made of the One Power, generally to be used as an *angreal. Level 3 Level 3 Level 3 Level 4 Level 4
Forge Weapon Create a weapon (generally a sword) with the One Power. An Aes Sedai using this weave would be violating the Second Oath. Level 4 Level 4 Level 4 Level 5 Level 4
Traveling Weaves Air Water Spirit Earth Fire
Create Gateway Place a Gateway allowing for swift travel from one place to another. Must be familiar with the starting place     Level 5    
Skimming Another form of Traveling, only slower. Provides something of a ferry. Must be familiar with the destination.     Level 4    
Use Portal Stones Using one of many portal stones scattered around the world to transport oneself and others to another portal stone. As the use of these stones has been largely lost, it is an unpredictable weave. Level 2 Level 2 Level 4 Level 2 Level 2
Simple Weaves Air Water Spirit Earth Fire
Ignite flammable material Used to start a fire, light a candle or lantern, burn paper, etc. Created the same effect as using a flint.         Level 2
Move items Use Air to move an item from point A to point B. How large an item can be moved depends on how strong channeler is in Air. Level 2        
Drying Use of Water to remove wetness from an item   Level 2      
Extinguish flame with Air Use of Air to suffocate a flame Level 2        
Extinguish flame with Earth Use of Earth to stamp out a flame       Level 2  
Ball of Light Create a glowing sphere of light Level 1   Level 2    
Eavesdropping Common novice trick to hear conversations at a distance Level 1   Level 2    
Fracture stone Split a stone along an existing fracture. With increased strength, larger stones can be fractured as well, or stones without fractures.       Level 2  
Controlled Weaves Air Water Spirit Earth Fire
Balefire Destructive weave used to eliminate a thread from the Pattern before the moment the weave hits. Weaving has been lost, and few, not even the Foresaken, would want it used again. Level 3 Level 3 Level 4 Level 3 Level 3
Travel Between Worlds The ability to travel between this world and others, including tel'aran'rhiod and worlds which might have existed. Level 4 Level 4 Level 4 Level 4 Level 4
Compulsion The ability to manipulate the mind-- the weaving of Compulsion has been lost, and few Aes Sedai would want to see it found Level 3 Level 4 Level 5 Level 3 Level 4
