Tower Officers are members in good standing who are appointed or elected to serve the community in an Out of Character (OOC) and/or In Character (IC) capacity. Certain officers have access to the website, and many are Moderators on certain message boards. They are members who deserve not only respect (as all members do) but also obedience.

1. Officers are required to make weekly reports to the Amyrlin and Keeper. They may be subject to temporary or permanent replacement after 2 weeks of silence.
2. Officers who expect to be unavailable for a stretch of time should make suggestions for their replacement to the Amyrlin and Keeper.
3. When a position is vacated, every effort will be made to hold an election, however if time is pressing, the Amyrlin and Keeper reserve the right to make an appointment.

The Amyrlin Seat - The Amyrlin has IC duties and privileges as in the books, but serves primarily in an OOC capacity. The Amyrlin is ultimately responsible, along with the Keeper, for everything at netlandtowers.com. She deals primarily with the interpersonal aspect of the site. Suggestions for improvement, problems with other members, or any questions another Officer can't answer should be directed to the Amyrlin and Keeper. The Amyrlin Seat chooses her successor when she feels it is time to step down.

The Keeper of the Chronicles - The Keeper has IC duties and privileges as in the books, but serves primarily in an OOC capacity. The Keeper is ultimately responsible, along with the Amyrlin, for everything at netlandtowers.com. She deals primarily with the technological aspects of the site. Issues regarding the MBs, the website, or anything another Officer can't help with should be directed to the Keeper and Amyrlin. The Keeper chooses her successor when she feels it is time to step down.

The Amyrlin and Keeper have complete access to the Website, Message Boards, and Chat Rooms.

Amyrlins Emeriti - Those who served time as the Amyrlin Seat. They have chosen to remain and advise the current Amyrlin and Keeper. An OOC position deserving respect, if their character survives they are in questionable status IC. From time to time, they may serve as temporary replacements for the Amyrlin or Keeper or another position which may be temporarily vacant.

Guild Leaders - Oversee the function of the character Guild they have been chosen to lead and interact with all members in that Guild as much as possible. Their recommendations are necessary for raising ranks. Questions or comments regarding a specific Guild, its members, or policies should first be directed to the Guild Leader. Guild Leaders serve in a primarily IC capacity and do not have the ability to alter the website. They are subject to annual election.

Subleaders - Occasionally a Guild may get so large it needs to have its power structure reinforced. Or, it may have an existing hierarchy from the books. "Subleaders" are specializations of the topmost rank of a Guild (Aes Sedai Sitters in the Hall, for example, or Aiel Warrior Society leaders). They are subject to annual election.

Other Guild Officers - Special positions are added as needed.

Registrars - Registrars process and post new character biographies. They admit or deny entry based on quality and adherence to posted criteria. OOC position. Being a registrar has no bearing on IC rank. Registrars are selected by the Amyrlin and Keeper.

Point System Coordinator - Keeps records of member point tallies based on request submissions. This is an OOC position and has no bearing on IC rank or status. Selected by the Amyrlin and Keeper.

Librarian - Maintains the Library, which is a repository of fanfictions, RP archives, and so on, including Three Arches fics. Selected by the Amyrlin and Keeper.
