Steel Vengence
by Derin DonredLight off of the steel tips,
Lite as a feather,
Whistling through the air,
The staff, my weapon, my lover, my friend,
Old Tongue inscription "Death is my lover."
It arcs, rainbow swift,
Steel mountain against the sword,
Retaliation with vengence,
I, but a vessel for its power,
I strike from the earth.
Blood flows.
Whirlwind of metal,
Encases me in a killer's instinct,
Like the flight of a bird,
I strike from above,
Like a a spring it rebounds off the bastion, the sword.
In a dance, we are,
Staff seeking life,
Sword seeking blood, my blood,
A raven cries into the night,
Our weapons shower us with sparks.
Sweat, nay blood, flows,
Wounds found by steel vengence,
One man falls through eternity,
To meet the Dark One's embrace.
I spit upon the foul creature, I am Asha'man,
One man, who courts death with his lover.
